Charity founder Emma Slade today got to spend a few "magical minutes" with the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall of their state trip to Bhutan. The royal couple visited a school for disabled children in Thimpu which has received support and funding from the charity. At a private reception Emma had the opportunity to discuss the work of the charity with the Duke & Duchess, securing his permission to send him copy of her book Set Free which explains her transformation from a city trader to Buddhist nun.
