The Openwork foundation have donated £300 towards medical care for children in an around Meritsmo in what is hopefully the beginning of a partnership between the charity and Opening Heart to Bhutan.
The Openwork Foundation (formerly known as the Allied Dunbar Foundation and then the Zurich Advice Network Foundation) was launched in 1981. Since this time, we have worked together to raise more than £19.3m for disadvantaged children, both in the UK and abroad.
Since Openwork’s launch in 2005, we’ve raised more than £5.7m by taking part in everything from overseas cycle challenges to charity curry nights.
The funds raised are distributed in the form of charitable grants to national, local and overseas projects nominated by our advisers and staff of Zurich bank.
